Paul teaches saxophone and clarinet from a purpose-built music studio at his home in Endmoor. He also does a small amount of teaching in schools throughout Cumbria.
Whether you are a beginner or have been playing for a while; are 8 or 80 years old; whether you want to study for the Associated Board/Trinity exams or would just like to improve your playing; if you prefer jazz, blues, classical, pop or a mixture of styles the emphasis is on playing your sax.
Lessons are usually held in, three-quarter or one hour slots, but there can be some flexibility with timescales and frequency. Lessons are available during the day or in the evening.
If you are thinking about learning to play the sax and have not yet purchased an instrument then a ‘taster’ lesson will enable you to try alto [medium sized], tenor [bigger] and soprano [small, but harder to learn on] saxophones to see which you prefer. Paul can also provide expert advice on buying or hiring an instrument.
